Ensemble Playing: Collaborating with other string players in ensembles, such as string quartets and orchestras.
Students will have the opportunity to perform in class, participate in recitals, and join camp ensembles. The course emphasizes both individual growth and the joy of making music together.
No prior musical experience required. Campers with musical experience will be placed in the intermediate of advanced cohorts.
A strong desire to learn and a willingness to practice regularly during the camp.
In some cases, students may need to provide their own instrument, especially commuter campers.
The camp will provide sheet music and other necessary materials.
