This course is designed to develop students' vocal abilities through a comprehensive approach to singing. Through focused instruction and practice, students will learn:
Vocal Technique: Proper breathing, posture, and vocal production techniques.
Music Theory: Understanding musical notation, scales, chords, and key signatures.
Sight-Singing: The ability to read and sing music at sight.
Musical Repertoire: Exploring a variety of musical styles and genres, from classical to contemporary.
Performance Skills: Developing confidence and stage presence for solo and ensemble performances.
Students will have the opportunity to perform in class, participate in recitals, and join school choirs andensembles. The course emphasizes both individual growth and the joy of making music together.
No prior vocal training required.
A strong desire to learn and a willingness to practice regularly.
The camp will provide sheet music and other necessary materials.
